StarWho.ai Terms of Service

This is a convenience translation. If there is any conflict, the English version is the authoritative version.

These Terms govern your access to and use of StarWho.ai, including its website, Future Self AI, sage-inspired AI conversations, planning tools, digital Future Self Pet, community features, memberships, tokens, and credits (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use and any purchase. You are responsible for accurate account information, your login credentials, and activity under your account.

2. Free 30-Day Trial

Eligible new members may receive one 30-calendar-day trial per person. No credit card is required. The trial costs $0, does not create a paid Stripe subscription, does not automatically convert, and does not automatically charge you.

The trial includes 5,000,000 combined input and output text tokens and 250 promotional premium credits for use during the 30-day trial. Trial allowances do not roll over, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire at the end of the trial. If you purchase the annual membership, unused trial allowances are replaced by the paid membership allowances.

3. Complimentary Membership Invitations

StarWho.ai may issue private, single-use invitation codes that grant a specified period of complimentary membership, such as 365 days. Redemption requires a StarWho account but does not require a payment method, create a Stripe subscription, renew automatically, or result in an automatic charge. Each code may be redeemed once, and each person or account may receive only one complimentary membership unless StarWho.ai expressly approves otherwise.

Invitation codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, must be redeemed before their stated expiration date, and may not be sold or publicly distributed. StarWho.ai may disable an unused code or revoke access obtained through fraud, resale, account duplication, or other misuse. When complimentary access ends, the member may choose whether to purchase the annual membership; no purchase occurs automatically.

4. Annual Membership

StarWho.ai offers one paid membership at $199 per year, billed annually in advance. There is no daily or monthly installment plan. “Less than $0.60 a day” is an advertising comparison based on $199 divided by 365 days; the full $199 is charged at once and is not billed daily.

If you select the annual membership, you authorize an immediate $199 charge and the 365-day paid membership starts that day. The free trial remains a separate $0 option and never stores a payment method or schedules a future charge.

Paid membership includes access to paid features, 5,000,000 combined input and output text tokens each membership month, and 3,000 included premium credits each paid membership year. Text usage resets monthly based on the paid membership start date and does not roll over. Included annual premium credits expire and reset at renewal.

5. Premium-Credit Add-Ons

Active paid annual members may purchase 500 premium credits for $10 or 2,500 premium credits for $35. Add-ons are immediate one-time purchases, do not auto-renew, and are not available during the free trial. Included credits are used before purchased credits. Purchased credits remain usable while the paid membership is active, subject to these Terms.

6. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation

Unless canceled, the annual membership renews automatically each year at the price disclosed before renewal. You may cancel automatic renewal at any time through account settings, the Stripe Billing Portal, or customer support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; unless a refund is approved, paid access continues through the current annual term. The free trial requires no cancellation because it never charges or converts automatically.

7. Refunds and Billing Problems

Full refund requests for an initial annual charge or annual renewal may be submitted within seven calendar days of the charge. After that period, payments are generally non-refundable and are not prorated, except for verified duplicate charges, billing errors, unauthorized transactions, qualifying service failures, or rights required by applicable law. Separate token or credit packages are refundable within seven calendar days only if none have been used. See the complete Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Failed Payments

If an annual payment fails, we may notify you and retry the payment, and paid features are paused until payment succeeds. Account data may be retained so access can be restored after payment succeeds, subject to our retention and privacy rules.

9. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only lawfully. You may not interfere with the Service, bypass access or usage controls, scrape or reverse engineer protected portions, misuse another person’s account, upload unlawful or infringing material, or use the Service to harm others.

10. User Content and Community Features

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant StarWho.ai a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, display, and use that content as necessary to operate and improve the Service and as directed by your sharing settings. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and publish your content.

11. AI-Generated Content

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. Future Self AI is a reflective, goal-based representation and does not predict your future. Sage-inspired conversations are modern AI interpretations and are not the historical figures themselves. The Service does not replace medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, software, branding, designs, and non-user content are owned by StarWho.ai or its licensors and protected by applicable law. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or terminate access for violations, fraud, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or particular personal, financial, career, or relationship results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarWho.ai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post the updated date. Material changes to billing or renewal terms will be disclosed as required by applicable law. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted.
